Safari doesn't work after iOS 8.3 update

After the iOS 8.3 update, Safari is completely useless. I am unable to open any URLs or search. Nothing happens when I type and return in the search bar. Sometimes even the go button doesn't highlight/activate.

I tried removing cache and disabling iCloud, but nothing worked.

Does anyone have a solution?

I've had a similar issue with Safari after the 8.3 update. There is no good solution, but the best workaround that I have found so far has been to

open safari and when I start typing in the search or enter website name (and nothing happens, go button doesn't work), then i cancel that search and click on any of my favorites bookmarks, it will take a few seconds (maybe 5/10 seconds at the longest) the website will evenutally load and you can use safari as usual at that time no problem. Or when you open safari, just click on one of your favorite bookmarks initially and save a step, but definitely not a long term solution (I hope) but it is a good work around.

i have exactly the same problem. in the meanwhile i have tried restoring my phone from an icloud backup. that was not successful. then i tried a restore from a ituens backup. also without a restore. as last resort i gave up my photos and my imessage history and setup the phone as a brand new device. safari then worked for few pages but after i have finished setting up all my apps and settings it did not work again.

i did some more research and came accross this useful link here: http://osxdaily.com/2015/03/10/having-safari-problems-with-ios-8-2-try-this/

in one of the comments somebody suggested to try the private browsing in mobile safari application. that seems to work for me. it is not a real solution to the problem but a workaround so you could still use safari and the favourites saved in icloud.

IHMO: i think it is a serious bug in ios 8.3 and apple should fix it asap so safari gets usuable again...
