iPad air is bent, i have no idea how.....

my iPad Air is bent and I have absolutely no idea how. I can assure you that I have not caused any impact to my screen. When I went to my local Genius Bar they told me that the only way this was the only that could have caused it to bend. I have looked at other reports and from the pictures they all look the same as mine (with the bend in the exact same spot and Apple have replaced these ones), however Apple will not replace it and are telling me it was my fault. I just want to know if anyone knows what could have happened to it. My iPad is still under warrantee.

like i said I HAVE NOT APPLIED ANY FORCE TO IT. there are other forums that have the exact same same problem as i do. perhaps you should read the description instead of reply with a snarky comment.

Bent iPad Air <-------- please read this before replying something that is not going to help

i have had a case and screen protector on my iPad since the day I've got it so i have not abused it.

Well, somehow, at some point, someone or something applied a large enough force to bend it. Unless you are claiming a poltergeist did it, then a force sufficient to bend it was applied to it, inadvertently or without your knowledge perhaps. But something bent it. It did not spontaneously bend all on its own.

And regardless of what anyone says on any forum anywhere, you need to deal with Apple if you feel you have a basis for replacement as they are the only ones you ultimately need to convince you're eligible for a no fee replacement.

Well, SOMEONE DID. To believe that it just spontaneously bent, with no outside force is just pure idiocy.

It seems a bit coincidental that the same exact bend is happening without the owner's understanding of why. i have been extremely careful with this product. i live on my own so no one else could have done it. and if i had applied any force to it would the screen not be cracked or smashed. on a side not whilst two of the geniuses at apple said that it was caused by impact another told me that he had seen many cases like this with the iPad air bending without the owners knowing how.

and i have attempted to deal with apple thanks, i am using a forum to see what other people done in my situation.

like i said apple are not helping me. i have asked to speak to their manager. i was told to book another appointment, when that appointment took me 2 weeks to get. the manager told me they can have an engineer look at it.

i simply want to know if other people have been in this situation so i can inform apple that i am not the only person this has happened to (in my next appointment 2 weeks from now)

please don't be snarky in your response i am just looking for help (and the the obvious 'contact apple' information i have already received)

They are not going to help you. YOU ABUSED IT. YOU VOIDED THE WARRANTY. They can have an engineer look at it, but they're going to tell you the same thing. Aluminum does not spontaneously bend or deform.

NO ONE here can do anything for you. This is a user forum. You need to just own up to your own shortcomings and accept the fact that you're going to have to pay for a replacement.
