I'm trying to update my Apple Watch Sport model. It has more than 50% battery, I'm on WiFi, and it's plugged in and charging. I've tried restarting my iPhone and Watch and nothing happens. My phone says Installing on Apple Watch but nothing happens on my Watch. Once I put the passcode in on both devices, my phone just continues to say Installing but it's really not.

I can't update Apple Watch Series 2 to watch OS 3.2.2.
I reset the watch after it stopped working today and it started tracking my activity after but trying to install update 5 times with multiple reboots didn't work.
Either watch is faulty or software is half baked.
Had to turn them off 3 times and now it is working, thanks.
I had this problem after updating to OS 10, I had to restart both the phone and the watch. Also, as others have said, make sure the watch is at least 50% and on it's charger and on WiFi.
I finally got it downloading..... But you have to disconnect from the WiFi in order to download the new software, when the download begins it then requires you to connect to the WiFi. Strange!!!
I don't see any profile- where is it? How do you delete? I've tried everything else and nothing works...

If you are trying to install watchOS 3.1.1, note that Apple has pulled back the update, so it cannot be installed at present. Apple issued the following statement:
"A very small number of Apple Watch customers experienced an issue while installing watchOS 3.1.1, so as a precaution we've pulled back the software update. Any customers impacted should contact AppleCare, but no action is required if the update installed successfully. We are working on a fix for an upcoming software update."

Having the same problem here. I've closed all apps and rebooted both the phone and the watch, yet I'm still getting the same error.
This did not work for me. Can this issue be fixed? My watch is not functioning very well since notice of this update. And this seems to be a problem for me with with every update that I have less functions that I originally enjoyed, instead of more.
I'm having a similar problem I just got mine yesterday for Christmas and it was originally a demo, my cousin works at the T-Mobile store in the Braintree mall, so it originally was a demo watch that they reset everything on and hooked it up to my phone, it charged to 100% a week ago at her house, and now I have it and it says: that the accessory can not be used till the watch is updated to the latest watchOS but my watch won't even charge to 50% to update it. Meaning I can't update the phone and I can't use the charger till I update the phone

Thats what Support says. Thats rather trivial.
I had to erase the watch completely and restart it without backup to be able to update it.
