"Recent calls" list won't clear

Oct 15, 2015 and I also having this issue.

I too am having the same problem. Verizon had me install a newer version of ITunes delete the calls and vola they appeared again. Just spoke to a friend that works at Apple he knew nothing about it. I have ICloud Drive disabled not helping. Apple what gives my 6S is two weeks old and driving me nuts!

Same problem here. I've had the problem off and on since v8.x, but no problem recently until I upgraded to v9.1 yesterday. Now my cleared call list reappears within seconds of clearing the list. I have iCloud Drive turned off, have tried rebooting my device before and after clearing the list, and have tried deleting calls one by one. I have a company issued phone and access to iCloud is blocked when connected to my company WiFi, so I doubt this is an iCloud problem. Apple, are you reading these posts?????

Just wanted to chime in to say this just started happening to me too. EXTREMELY ANNOYING. Hoping Apple finds a way to fix this but given the older posts up thread I'm not feeling too optimistic.

Why is no-one responding to the Q 'what am I missing if I turn iCloud Drive off"?

What is the point of having this Apple forum, if Apple isn't responding?

That is the problem with mine, also -- I DO clear them in exactly the way described here, and they reappear next day. I'mnot seeing a solution here.

This deleting one by one absolutely DOES NOT work!

same here deleting calls 1by1 they dont delete their still there and even more older calls show up that have been deleted the only way to get rid of them i have to delete the whole call log ....
