iOS 8.4 GPS Issue

I updated to iOS 8.4 and now my GPS isn't getting data quickly, when using Maps or Waze for directions it take so long to figure out where it's at it's pretty much useless. Anyone else having this issue?

I have not had any problems using Waze since my last post. I hope this continues. Location fix appears to be taking longer than it did on iOS 8.3. I'm not sure what fixed it, but I did not Reset Network Settings (I hate doing that and losing all of my saved WiFi networks 😕). Scroll back and find my previous posts for steps taken.

I was running an out and back, using strava, going north on the out - whats up with all the crazy squiggles!. Also, its not holding me on Main St. Then some more squggles, and some thunderbolt action. I was listening to Apple Music on the way out also, coincidence maybe. Then on the turn back I toggled airport mode, the way back holds the road nice and tight, even shows my sidewalk crossing just south of the river.

So, try an airport mode toggle.

Got the same bizarre GPS tracking map FMMello's map shows, using both Runkeeper and Human on my bike ride tonight: both apps reported I'd travelled 1km after the first 0.5km due to the wildly zig-zag route it said I'd taken, and after maybe 7-10 minutes settled down. Both reported an incorrect final distance of my ride when finished. Prior to the iOS 8.3 update, my GPS tracks (map, splits, pace, distance) were flawless, up to 50km on my bike.

The weird thing is that my Apple Watch, while running the Activity: Outdoor Cycle" reported the correct distance at the end of my ride tonight (as compared to known milestones along my route and my bike odometer). So the fix iOS 8.4 offered owners of external GPS units like BadElf, which became unusable after iOS 8.3, apparently buggered up the internal GPS tracking functions.

I haven't tried all the things I've read so far that are supposed to fix this, but I'd prefer Apple make the fix rather than have me futz around with a bunch of settings and REALLY make a mess of my iPhone.
