AS the title says. I updated to 8.4 on my iPhone 6 and Touch ID no longer works. I tried some of the suggestions that were online referring to similar problems meant for people when they updated to 8.3.
TThey don't change anything.

I second this question. Touch ID has started to act up on me after the ios 8.4 update. Adding/deleting fingerprints is not solving the issue.
Maybe delete and then reinstall your fingerprint. I can tell you it's working just fine on my phone after updating to 8.4.
I hope that you're aware that, after an IOS update, it's necessary to enter your passcode ONCE. Afterwards, the Touch ID will function.
Deleting and reinstalling the fingerprints seems to have solved the problem. Thanks!
My Touch ID is completely dead. Uninstalling reinstalling makes no difference. Also my screen is behaving irrationally jumping all over the place.
I do have the same since iOS 8.4.
I tried to reset Touch ID, but it does not work.
I Have the exact same problem on my iPhone 6 plus on iOS 8.4. The Touch ID works one out of every ten times, and that includes in apps. Is there a solution for this? I didn't have this problem in the iOS 8.4 betas.

I'm not really a developer. I was enrolled in the public beta program a few days ago.
I just tried to delete my fingerprints from Touch ID so I could put them back- now I can't. The finger print scanner rarely works, and now when I try to add it back, it won't work consistently enough for me to re-ad my fingerprint. At least I only deleted one.😢
I tried this and it wont let me add it back. If you have them still in your passcode settings, don't remove them!
Is the activation server still open for a downgrade to iOS 8.3?
Did you restore your phone to install the full version of iOS 8.4? You need to do that to get past the beta software you had on the phone.
