AS the title says. I updated to 8.4 on my iPhone 6 and Touch ID no longer works. I tried some of the suggestions that were online referring to similar problems meant for people when they updated to 8.3.
TThey don't change anything.
anyone else have this problem?
Unfortunately there is no Apple Store in my country

The problem started with iOS 8.3 and it is still present in iOS 8.4.
Now we have to wait for iOS 9.

They did not address Touch ID, because there was no issue with it in iOS 8.3. If you had an issue, it was your individual phone, so an update to iOS 8.4 would not address it. If your problem started with iOS 8.3, and you restored the device as new and it would not function correctly, then you need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have the hardware checked.
Then you need to contact your Authorized Apple Service Provider.
Actually, yes, I did. My iPhone 6 Plus got stuck on the apple logo when updating from iOS 8.4 public beta 3 to the final version. So I downloaded the IPSW and restored it fresh. It still doesn't work.

The Touch ID worked fine until yesterday, so unless software can damage hardware, it's a software problem. This is my second iPhone 6 Plus. I just had it replaced 3 weeks ago because of a screen problem. I will just have to hope there's an iOS 8.4.1.
Until then, I'll just have to enter my passcode.

That is not what I was referring to. I was not referring to the final beta, nor the GM, but the public released version of iOS 8.4. Also, where did you download the ipsw? Why not just use iTunes to download and install the software?

And everything you quoted has to do with App Store purchases, not with the use of Touch ID to unlock the device.
Come on man I am not here to argue with you .

You were given a solution and you chose not to implement it. Hmmm...
I got the IPSW from iTunes. I used my MacBook Pro with Yosemite and I pushed restore iPhone. Am I the only person with the Touch ID problem?
