Hello,

I've got the same problem. I tried to do what it explained on the following websites :

http://imessengerblog.com/2015/07/how-to-create-genius-playlist-in-ios-8-4/

http://www.imore.com/how-use-playlists-apples-new-music-app#genius

But it changed nothing. The Genius playlists are not here anymore...

I Used Genius too. Heard music in my vast collection that I never knew I had. A Folk playlist

THe he point here is the user didn't make it. The software did. 50s 60s contemporary country etc.

all gone. Making one is fine, but those fab large playlists have actually been delete?...

i Am not updating my iPhone since they are lost on my iPad.

I have to agree with most of the comments on here...I now can't enjoy my music the way I want to because my genius mix options are gone from my ipad music app. I don't find the new version of music so easy to navigate, and as I don't want to access apple music and don't use cloud options, mostly because I don't have internet or wifi available where I use my ipad, I now feel I have lost out! Where is my choice to just listen to my music library in a constructed but random maner using genius?? I haven't got time to manually construct endless play lists and liked the fact that with genius I get a surprise mix. I don't want streamed music or apple radio or whatever else it is...just to listen to my itunes library in the way I want to.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE GENIUS OPTION.........

It is crazy. their attitude to me was "make your own Smart paylist".

But is the issue: you are taking AWAY features we use so often.

Sure, make existing ones better, but don't just take others away willy-nilly. It's so unfriendly.

Secondly... who's found themselves want to slide the finger down the a-Z for Artists to find that your right thumb cannot now do it as its all moved over to the left... and you cannot' reach your thumb over there.

If you do, you then cannot see what you are swiping down!!!

And if you use your right thumb, you cannot hold the ipad like it is designed to be held, and you have to let go, and either not see the right screen by doing it, or just giving up.

It's a tweak they didn't think about.

The point of that slide is to whiz down your artists. But you can't, as you canot see them when you whiz down!!

Would have been better to leave the a-z on the right, and have the listing on the right.

OR... just move the current a-z to the left of the left listing. So e use left thumb.

Where it is now, is like Ford moving the right indicator stalk to the top of the steering column. An unnatural and intrusive position.

IF you feel this too, please do post to www.apple.com/feedback and see if they LISTEN..... rather than just change and remove?!?!
