Podcast app crashing in iOS 9

I tried the iOS 9 public beta on my 6 plus and ever since I am unable

to open the podcasts app (it's crashing on the beginning again and again)..

Now I just finished installing iOS 9 on my iPad2 and now I have the same problem...

any solution? HELP!

Same deal for me. No iOS 9 beta, just upgraded. Podcasts app won't launch. Just crashes while "Updating Library".

I too am having this problem on iOS 9 GA (installed from iPhone update). Same thing on an iPhone 5s and iPad 4.

Same thing is happening to me. Just after OS 9 update. Anyone have a solution yet?

I'm also running into the same issue. On my iPhone with iOS 9 installed today, I can't launch Podcasts without it crashing. On my iPad still on iOS 8.x, Podcasts is still working fine. This is certainly frustrating as I use this app throughout the day.

I have this on my iPhone 5, but surprisingly not on my iPad 3.

The only thing that works for me is a complete reset on the phone without restoring from a backup. Resetting only the settings doesn't fix it.

Same problem, installed ios9 today. Podcast app says loading library for about five seconds, then the app crashes.

Same problem. Podcasts crashes while "Updating Library." Installed iOS 9 on iPhone 6. Tried launching in airplane mode and restarting but it didn't work. Just did a complete restore and it still didn't work, which is very frustrating given how long it took.

Well, it is nice to know I am not the only one...
I wonder what evil plan is behind all these?? 😝😉

Exact same problem after installing iOS 9.

It did not help to remove all the podcasts in the library form the iPhone.

Its sad that an update do stop apples own podcast apps.

Same here "Updating library" for 1-2 seconds than crash.
