Podcast app crashing in iOS 9

I just installed iOS 9 on my iPhone 6. When opening the podcast app I get a white screen, "Updating Library" and then it crashes after about 15 seconds. Anyone else experiencing this?

I've quit the app.

Restarted the phone.

Tried putting phone in airplane mode and opening the app.

Same result each time.

Help!

iPhone 6, iOS 9

I use Overcast too, but I like to create podcast playlists for when I am running or biking for long periods of time... no need to stop when I have a playlist created. Podcast playlists also allow me to create a stream of podcasts on a particular topic. I have the free version of Overcast and haven't been able to figure out if this can be done in the free version.

For four days now I have had a issue with my Iphone 6 Plus. I can not make calls nor can I recieve or send text messages. I have spoken with a tech over the phone that stated that I need to get a new phone. Okay no problem I can deal with that, But mail turn around wasn't a good fit for me so I opted to go to the Apple store. My appointment was at 630, it was almost 8pm before I was seen. The tech reset my phone back to new, while I was there it worked fine. Now today again I can't text nor can I make calls. I spoke with the tech again on the phone that said let me get you to the store manager so we can expidite a appointment. The store manager informed me that the next appointment he could get me was Sept, 29th. Really today is the 23rd, I have young kids in school and this my only phone and I just spent over three hrs in the store the day before and my issue still isn't resolved. My phone is still under warranty and I am getting the run around. My kids teacher can't even get incontact with me and no one is willing to help. I see if this was something I did wrong to the phone. But this is a hardware issue that they do not want to fix.

Just noticed that after upgrading to iOS 9 my phone stopped backing up to iCloud. I tried to force a backup a couple of times. Each time the backup appeared to start normally, ran for an hour or so, then gave a message that the backup could not be completed. I wonder if this is somehow related to the Podcast bug. Has anyone else seen these problems together?

Does anybody have a reliable way to revert back to ios 8.4.1? Every procedure I've found doesn't work.

This is a blunder on Apple's part of epic proportions. You don't have thatmany devices Apple, quality control much? You control every step in the supply chain from design to finished product, both hardware and software, yet you still release an OS with major show-stopping bugs. I don't think they could have screwed up more if they designed it this way.

Never mind that the new interface is clunky, awkward, and ugly. If it ain't broke don't fix it
