Ios 9 cant enable mobile data for application(s)?

I was traveling while upgrading my device, and most seem to work as expected so far.

Since I'm careful with roaming charges, I disabled most of the apps from the mobile data setting page before I left, so I could read mail abroad without using alot of data in the background.

After upgrading to IOS 9, I can't seem to enable mobile data for any new apps.

The ones that were already enabled, is fine.. they can be disabled and then enabled again, but for example spotify refuses to use mobile data after the update,

I've restarted, soft reset, and every time the mobile data checkbutton is back to off if I go out of settings and in again (and it doesn't work).

Anyone else have this problem?

I'm having exactly the same issue. Any apps that were switched off for mobile data use before the IOS 9 update will not now switch back on. I've reset network settings to no avail. Deleting the apps and reinstalling them doesn't seem to work either. I thought about using one of my recent backups to iCloud but oddly since the IOS update I no longer have any phone backups despite me previously backing up pretty regularly!

I am one of the lucky ones as all my toggles were on pre-update. But I totally agree with the venting of many users. If this was picked up in beta then iOS 9 should NOT have been released until this was fixed. I am sure most of us prefer reliability over new features and a few pointless emoticons. Instead we have had 9.0, 9.0.1, shortly 9.0.2 and probably not long after we'll see 9.1. Four releases in a short span which isn't great and a complete nuisance having to do constant updates and then subsequent testing of apps/features because I do not trust Apple not to break something. It's becoming tiresome.

Unfortunately releasing a new iOS every year is obviously overwhelming the engineers and too many bugs are flying about and not getting addressed. If only an iOS was allowed to have 2 to 3 year run and mature into something relatively low on bugs and stable I think many would be happier.

I had posted a twitter link (unofficial handle), which said it would be solved in 9.0.2

But the post was removed saying it was speculative.

I am ok with removal as it was indeed speculative as Apple is still not ready to acknowledge that they know the problem and are working on it.

Which unfortunately also means that this issue may not be resolved soon! 😢

Is there any page where Apple officially posts about known issues in iOS?

I think they should have such a page if they dont want people to speculate.

Then I now want to search my e-mails back.
A WORKING version please.
Not spotlight nonsense.
Search when being within the mail app.
Full text search.
As it used to be.

And I want to sync my notes, calendars, to do lists and bookmarks with Outlook 2003.
Not 2007 or 2010 or 2088.
With 2003.

And an iTunes that does NOT garble synced photo folders, music album art, album tracks.
Just like it used to be. For some days at least, until some important new features broke all that.
