Ios 9 cant enable mobile data for application(s)?

I was traveling while upgrading my device, and most seem to work as expected so far.

Since I'm careful with roaming charges, I disabled most of the apps from the mobile data setting page before I left, so I could read mail abroad without using alot of data in the background.

After upgrading to IOS 9, I can't seem to enable mobile data for any new apps.

The ones that were already enabled, is fine.. they can be disabled and then enabled again, but for example spotify refuses to use mobile data after the update,

I've restarted, soft reset, and every time the mobile data checkbutton is back to off if I go out of settings and in again (and it doesn't work).

Anyone else have this problem?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9, IOS 9, mobile data settings

I'm having exactly the same issue. Any apps that were switched off for mobile data use before the IOS 9 update will not now switch back on. I've reset network settings to no avail. Deleting the apps and reinstalling them doesn't seem to work either. I thought about using one of my recent backups to iCloud but oddly since the IOS update I no longer have any phone backups despite me previously backing up pretty regularly!

I am having the same issue since I upgraded iOS 9 in the 1st day.😮 I thought maybe is my setting problem, but after i run through all the user replied, it seen that we did not have any workaround solution to temporary solve this.😟 We has been pay to use the mobile data BUT now we can't turn it on and somehow we Want to turn it off BUT it will turn on. 😟

I'm utterly disgusted by this crippling glitch! I can't believe Apple can do such a mistake. They should have thoroughly tested on their own, and only release the iOS9 after it is safe for the users. This bug is very obvious and should not be difficult to detect and eliminate before releasing, unless the software testers are not doing their job...

I have the exact same issue. Absolutely crippling! Almost none of my apps now can connect via the Cellular network. So essentially, I'm carrying around a BRICK unless I get in range of Wifi.

Apple -- Shame on you for releasing an OS update with such poor failure modes analysis.

Users / Apple - Any solutions to this that work?
