This is occurring on my new 128GB iPhone 6s Plus running 9.0.1. The braindead "solution" from AppleCare is to wipe iPhone, restore from backup. Which does precisely zero aside from wasting several hours. Remote diagnostics show no problems. There are NUMEROUS folks on these support pages experiencing this problem across a variety of iPhone iterations running iOS 9.
I did NOT have this issue on my 128GB iPhone 6 running iOS 9 nor on 9.0.1."

1) Any "solution" is limited to a day, or two, max.
2) Black screen problem seems to manifest itself after bluetooth connected phone-related use.
3) Once it begins to happen, the problem seems to occur 100% of the time when opening an app that isn't already open in the background.
4) I can force the black screen problem by opening an unopened app, after hitting home button, the app will open normally. I can then fully close the app in the background. When reopening the app, black screen.
Seems to be a software issue that is triggered with bluetooth phone use that later affects apps that are unopened in the background. It may happen with apps that are already open, as well, I've just noticed that I can make it happen every time using unopened apps.
Also, I never used a hands-free blue tooth connection with prior iPhone 6 that did not have the issue per my original post above.
Hopefully, someone from Apple can use this as a starting point.
