iPhone 6 updated to ios9 screen goes black when I open an app

As Gabriel posted before, the problem starts when you make a voicecall. If you restart the iPhone afterwards things return to normal.

I have posted the bug to Apple beta test program but I haven't got any answer from them so far...

Same here, iPhone 5S 64Gb after IOS9 install. First showstopping iPhone issue in my life! Apple please respond, this is HUGE!

I can confirm this.

The phone was fine this morning.

Had a call on the way to work over wired headset.

I'm not sure if I stopped the call by headset click, but that's what I normally do.

Now the black screens are back 😟

I Confirm that my 6s plus got fixed through hard reset with bluetooth and airdrop off, after starting a call with my voice and bluetooth then the black screen appeared again

Ditto... what makes it worse for me is that my "power" button is broken. I used to be able to shut off and reboot the phone using the Accessibility options, but with a black screen, I can't navigate anymore and must therefore wait for the battery to deplete itself... This will likely take a few days given nothing runs on the phone. I never had this problem in years. Bummer. I've now learned my lesson to wait before upgrading.

Same black screen problem here with two iPhone 5 after updating to iOS 9.0.0 and 9.0.1 and also with my wife's brand new iPhone 6s iOS 9.0.1... expecting my own new 6s to arrive by troday, I'm pretty sure to then have four iPhones having this issue...

...so Apple, please react quickly!

Do you mean 9.01 or 9.1?

Just for this hugely annoying bug I have enrolled in the beta testing program so I could submit the bug report formally... I hope they take this bug seriously.

Same problem on iPhone 6.

IOS update 9.0.2 just released right now. After updating I did not have the same problem, however given the nature of this bug it could return in a few hours or days. But hopefully 9.0.2 fixes it.

after 9.02 at first sight i would say "well done apple". 😎

If someone could be so kind to try 9.0.2 on an iPhone 5 and see if it resolves the bluetooth / app black screen issue, it would be much appreciated. My wife won't let me near her phone.

Call someone by using the "Call someone" command AFTER updating to 9.02 and report what happens...

Made one voice call using the handset, and a second one using Bluetooth headset w/Siri contact recognition. Then launched a new App or two and didn't have any problems. Will see how long it lasts!
