Sep 27, 2015 12:04 PM in response to Jagspecialby Krlosmartinez,Not only on iPhone 6, I have an iPhone 5 and have the same problem here. Rebooting just solve it temporary.
I Have update to 9.01 and no solution. A restoration doesn't help neither

Sep 27, 2015 12:39 PM in response to Jagspecialby francato,I was having this same issue even after reboots as well. I read where someone else had tried rebooting by holding down home and lock buttons with no success. I performed the same action and have not had the issue return at all for about a day now. The difference may be that you must hold down both buttons until the screen goes black and then keep holding until an Apple comes up and then release.
Working for me so far... Will post back if the black screens return.

Sep 27, 2015 1:36 PM in response to francatoby saunderscc,This is occurring on my new 128GB iPhone 6s Plus running 9.0.1. The braindead "solution" from AppleCare is to wipe iPhone, restore from backup. Which does precisely zero aside from wasting several hours. Remote diagnostics show no problems. There are NUMEROUS folks on these support pages experiencing this problem across a variety of iPhone iterations running iOS 9.
I did NOT have this issue on my 128GB iPhone 6 running iOS 9 nor on 9.0.1.

Sep 27, 2015 3:36 PM in response to BobbyBigPantsby Waterdowner,there are 6 iPhones 4x5s, 1x5c, 1x5 in our house. Only the iPhone 5 has the problem with the apps going to a black screen. And Bluetooth calls seem to cause the problem. The Bluetooth also say a call is disconnected right before a call is connected.
I've installed ios 9.0.1 but it didn't solve the problem. I'm attempting to downgrade to 8.4.1 in the hopes of fixing the phone.
When can a patch be ready?!!!

Sep 28, 2015 7:49 AM in response to ddddds9by francato,Hi, did you continue to hold the buttons until the screen goes black and not release until you see the Apple appear? Just curious, as I have gone for days now without the black screens upon app launch resurfacing.

Sep 28, 2015 3:59 PM in response to Jagspecialby Jgomezch,Hello, i had the same problem with my Iphone 6, IOS 9.0.1, yesterday i contacted the Apple chat and there very help me.
My problem was that the screen goes black but it still works, i was able to activate siri or open any app but with the screen on black

Sep 29, 2015 1:38 AM in response to Jagspecialby Andyg1978,So far I haev upgraded;
iPad 3 - no issues
iPhone 5s - no issues
iPhone 6 - I got the issue with the black screen after you open a new application. So far I have peformed a reset of the phone (power and home for 10 seconds) and a full DFU restore and I still get the problem. Its intersting that this phoe is the only device with Bluetooth profiles, one Pioneer Car Kit, one Audi Car Kit and one Bluetooth headset (Damson Headbones).
Going to try and delete these profiles and see if that makes a difference.

Sep 29, 2015 2:04 AM in response to Jagspecialby thwalta,Had the same problem until my wife borrowed my iPhone 6 for a day. She doesn't use TouchID on my phone so she used te passcode for a day. Seems to have fixed the problem for days now (including multiple bluetooth car kit calls). Maybe of some use for others.
