i cant get into my phone because it has crashed and i need to turn off find my iphone but obviously i cant get into my phone to do so and i need to restore it but it wont let me unless i turn find my iphone off which i cant do

Sign into your iCloud.com page, click on the Find My Phone icon. Click the Devices button, click on your device’s item, then remove if from the list. You should then try this:
no worry . Most people start from android to Iphone was saying the same.

by the way. make sure you have APPLE ID & Icloud email. (those are at important for any apple proudct).
read and check about apple ID . And icloud email.
sing in via (find my iphone) : will/should show : 1-play sound . 2-lost mode .3-erase iphone
sing in via (option , setting , icloud ) : will show : Remove device ONLY .
note: only a device that you're sign in will be shown.
