After updating to iOS9 I can not sign into iCloud and restore my backup. Now I do not have access to anything on my iPad air. Any way to fix this?

This what I did to get it working:

Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Once it restarts, just re-input your wifi password. Go back into Settings and check ITunes & App Store, FaceTime, and iCloud to make sure that your Apple accounts are signed in.

Not sure what causes it but each time it does, I've reset the network settings and it resolves the issue.

I had this problem also today. I was at work and the iPad icon showed that I was connected to WiFi. I tried multiple times and the invalid pop-up continued. I read these posts and tried everything. Then it dawned on me, that we have a secured WiFi. So I needed to log into Safari and add the User and security code. After an hour of trying to figure it out, it was a "DAH!" moment...totally forgetting that I need to log into security WiFi every time I am on the work WiFi. Once I logged in, the problem went away.

"Verification Failed... There was an error connecting to the Apple ID Server" and constant requests over the past few months now on my MacBook Air, my iPhone 5S and my iMac to sign into iTunes is not only driving me nuts, but is VERY CLOSE to making me go to the AT&T Store and canceling my iPhone 7 and getting a Samsung.

Then, add in the complexity of trying to listen to iTune purchases I have made over the years and not being able to access the music I bought... (I'm now buying all my music through Amazon)....

My first Apple computer was a LISA I bought in 1983. Been an Apple fan for decades BUT the last few years have been nothing but frustration.

Hey, Tim Cook! Can you here me now? If you can, do you understand what "Adios Apple" means?

I've just had this issue myself. Hands Off! started silently blocking akd connections to gsa.apple.com without consulting me first..

In case anyone else is running HandsOff! or LittleSnitch or similar network monitoring software, make sure that it isn't blocking /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AuthKit.framework/Versions/A/Support/akd (and other Apple services)

I hope this will help someone!
