Since upgrading to El Capitan, Microsoft Outlook will not remember it's window size after I close and reopen, or quit and restart the program.
This problem did not occur with any previous operating systems.
Please help....

This is all very odd.
Getting on for 3 weeks after downloading 14.6.4, my window-sizing problems remain cured.
Other people - like corvairkid - are still in the sh*t.
I wonder what the problem really is?
Whatever, it was a nightmare while it lasted which. for me, was ever since installing el Capitan until the 14.6.4 update.
I'd like to know what the problem is caused by too.
But, I don't look at it as a "nightmare".
I am so used to minimizing, instead of closing, the Outlook window, it has become second nature to me.
Also, for the Calendar size problem, keeping the calendar sidebar closed is a simple fix.
You only have to close it once and forget about it.
At this point, if it never gets fixed, fine with me.
There are a lot more important things to be concerned with.

But I'd still like it fixed - that would suit my "Quit All" gizmo [which I use a lot] much better.

System Preferences > General > Uncheck "Close windows when quitting an application". This worked for me with Safari, iMessage.

All very odd. In my case, ever since downloading 14.6.4 a month ago the window-sizing issue went away for me. Since then we've had 14.6.5 and it's still good & GONE AWAY - thank God. I wonder what the cause actually is?
Here is what worked for me. Right click and hold on the Outlook icon in your dock. Choose "Options" then "Desktop on Display 1". I have a MacBook Air plugged into an Apple monitor. For some reason Outlook was resizing to fit the laptop not the large monitor.

You are correct that closing the Calendars side window resolves the Calendars window size problem.
The window size problem with Outlook for Mac 2011 remains unresolved for me and many others.
I'm very happy! I just updated to Photoshop 2015.5 (the latest update) and the window problem is finally gone! It now keeps the window's size in memory.

I did an upgrade to the MacOS Sierra release candidate and the issue is finally fixed for me. Hooray!
