Well, yes, I upgraded a few days ago to El Capitan.
Both of my printers, Xerox 6000 at work and Xerox 6015 at home stopped printing. I deleted them, downloaded from Xerox drivers that worked fine on Yosemite, but El Capitan never installs them with "Incompatible software message".
Anyone any idea?

You have to wait and see if xerox updates the drivers for 10.11. You could go back to yosemite via time machine and wait until the drivers get updated. I had a similar issue with a canon printer not working with a clean install of 10.11 but did work if i first installed in 10.10 then upgraded but of course each one situation is different.

Looks like the only option for me would be to wait for either Xerox driver update or Apple new El Capitan update.
Since my MacBook was purchased three weeks ago, i didn't do TimeMachine...
In some instances Xerox will provide you with beta drivers if you contact them directly and those drivers exist, otherwise there may be no other option than to try a generic driver or another Xerox driver to a printer that shares functionality with the model you have. Xerox may be able to provide you with additional details.
I have this issue too and their support job noted we might be SOL on this one. Said there's nothing but waiting for us.

Print drivers are the usual suspect casualties in System upgrades.
Always good to do your "due diligence" if your print functionality is mission critical to your work flow.
Check with the manufacturer for driver updates or fall back to a previous OS.

I've simply re-installed Yosemite from the scratch (there was another issue with python sw error message) and installed my printers back. I will wait then to make sure such things as printer drivers are ok to go further to El Capitan.

Hello, for all user Xerox 6015. trying in various forums I found the instructions provided by Stefan and now everything works fine! here are the steps :
1. download from Xerox the latest drivers ( Yosemite )
2. open system preferences / printer to delete the printer
3. switch off the computer
4. holding the keys cmd + r star the computer
5. up ( from the toolbar) select (terminal) utility
6. Type disable csrutil
7. restart the computer
8. install the latest drivers
9. open system preferences / printer and add printer
10. switch off the computer
11. while pressing the Cmd + r start the computer
12. up ( from the toolbar) select ( terminal ) utility
13. type csrutil enable

Xerox has recently updated Workcenter 6015 driver and no it's ok for El Capitan.
Still waiting for Phaser 6000.
Hopefully, not for good.
