HELP-ME APPLE! Printer xerox phaser 3040 isn't working.

After I update for os x El capitan 10.11, my printer xerox phaser 3040 isn't working anymore. Help me! and now?

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11)

Did you check before upgrading that the printer was compatible? If you need it for work or school you should always check that everything is compatible.

This is a bug with the Xerox drivers: you can get around it by turning off rootless, though this is not recommended.
