Wake on Excessive Wake drains battery on sleep

Ive been having this problem where my computer drains to 0% battery overnight when in sleep. When I'm connected to my router/wifi, the computer never sleeps, wakes up multiple times a minute, and drains all battery. See a sample below:

Turns out, a bunch of people in this forum have had this problem. I've tried everything suggested. Turning off Wifi before sleep WORKS so i figured it was a problem with the computer. But..it seems that me and a few other people have come to this conclusion: Its a problem only with certain routers.

I tested to see if this is my router by leaving my Wifi ON, and unplugging my router. It sleeps fine with Wifi ON and router OFF. So its the connection between the router and the computer that is doing this.

its a Time Warner Router.

Im posting this so Apple is aware of the issue. Has anyone found a fix?

Did you delete 3rd party extensions in other folders as well? I also deleted a file called AppleMobileDevice.kext in the path /System/Library/Extensions as the developer was not listed as Apple, though the name seems to imply otherwise. If that still doesn't work, you can also try removing files in the folder /LIbrary/LaunchAgents and /Library/LaunchDaemons both at the user and global levels.

Here is my situation:

Last month I bought a Macbook Pro 13" 2015 from Online Store and found this problem, I went to genius bar and they did a test, there is no hardware problem, then I called the hotline and they still offer me a product replacement.

But the new one still has this problem, and I have also did a system test in genius bar (because I have dead pixels on the display, before replacing the display they need to do a test on the system), and guess what? No hardware problem!

For me, deleting 3rd party extensions is likely to have resolved the issue. My computer has not had it for a couple of days already, even when the WiFi is left on. I ran Apple Diagnostic Test but no issue with the hardware was found. May be this test cannot detect hardware problems like this, and the 3rd party extensions causing "excessive wake" is merely a manifestation of some faulty hardware. But I think it's good that they are looking into this.
