Apple Music not working on iPhone 6 after iOS 9.1

One week later and my phone is worse than ever. I restored as new and am still having ID issues, still can't open email links or access Apple Music On either ID. I have spent HOURS speaking to Apple support most days and still nothing works. Definitely seems to be an ID conflict issue. Is anyone having this issue but only had ONE ID? (I have two)

Reading some of the responses here makes me think if this is really an apple id bug. And yes it is indeed. Now everything is working the way it is suppose to be. Now I'm glad I'm on 9.1.

What I did is just simply update it to 9.1 since I went back to 9.0.2.

If you already on 9.1 and still experiencing the problem, just logout all your apple id. (iCloud, iTunes, iMessage, FaceTime). Reboot. Then login your apple id on all the services you use.

I've lost count of the number of times I have done that. It doesn't work for me at all.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have already tried it several times before also no luck maybe because there was still this apple id issue that time. I suggest you do it again this time.

Glad to have found this thread. Same issues for days. Also, my car wouldn't let me play through USB (error "Unsupported") although it did work via Bluetooth. Went back to iOS 9.0.2 and everything worked fine (App Store, Music) except for the Health app which was DOA. Upgraded again, same problems. There is a workaround: Sign out of the App Store and turn the phone on and off. This is the only way my car USB will recognize the iPhone.

Can't buy apps or listen to Music. But I've got Pandora and Spotify and I can add new apps through iTunes on my iMac. Hope Apple is paying attention and will get this fixed. After all, the revenue stream from apps and music is being impaired. That should catch somebody's eye.

I Am literally having the same problem. I've been talking to Apple support since Monday and still nothing. My iPhone 6 and iPad mini 2 are basically worthless right now and I am not happy about it. Apple support has been very nice though, so I really appreciate them.

Just wanted to follow up that I wound up getting my 6S plus replaced at the Apple Store, but I haven't updated the ios from 9.0 to 9.1.

Make sure you have iCloud Music Storage turned on under Music in settings or your "My Music" won't show up. I had other issues, not just with music. Will let you know what happens when I update and restore my my phone. Needless to say, I'm cautious about doing that.

Seeing as a fix could be weeks if not months away, would be great if Apple started signing 9.0.2 again. I know that's not gonna happen, but having to temporarily buy a second device is such a messy solution.

Incidentally this morning I noticed everything on my 6S+ was back up for about an hour - able to download apps, stream Apple music, click links in email, etc. Then it all went out again. It all came back randomly without me doing anything at all, so all this rebooting/signing out/restoring is likely just wasted energy. Ultimately a patch is needed.

This happened to me when I wiped and restored my iPhone, third party apps either wouldn't download or came back with all internal data missing (local scores, logins, etc). Ultimately I was able to grab a month-old iCloud backup, pre-9.1, that had all the third party app data intact.

I suspect this this has to do with the fact that 9.1 breaks the link between Apple ID and App Store, so third party apps aren't backing up properly. That's just a guess though.
