iPad Pro System Sounds Abnormally Low

I've played around with the volume slder in Sounds setting screen but only get a momentary improvement in these sounds - lock sound, keyboard clicks, sent mail, various alerts. I'm on the release software (9.1). Listening to music or videos is terrific, the speaker system is amazing. But those system sounds remain extremely low even with the volume slider and side buttons adjusted to max. I've restarted and force restarted with no change. I feel that this must be software related since I can get the full volume from those sounds momentarily but as soon as I leave the settings app they're back to extremely low.

Hhas anyone else run into this and/or found a resolution?

Just be patient. There are two very common bugs, this one and the shutdown while charging overnight. Both are software issues. I cannot mention here what fixes them, my post would be deleted. But if you go to page 9 of the "shuts off while charging and requires a hard restart" you will read what has fixed that issue and this one.

I have bought an Ipad Pro 2 days ago and the low (almost mute) volume on keyboard clicks email notifications was the first thing I noticed because the volume while I watch movies or listen to music is the best louder one I've ever heard on a portable device!

Apple is working on ios 9.2 i hope they will fix it on that ios version!

This is bogus. I just dropped a grand on my iPad Pro but the system sounds are very low volume or gone altogether. I tried all kinds of combinations of Settings for Keyboard Clicks and Lock Sounds and still no dice. *** Apple? If this is a software issue I would like Apple to acknowledge it. Anybody have anything official?

It is a software issue, not hardware. I've read on other sites the next update will fix it. But in the mean time swipe up from the bottom and make sure it's not muted.

I Got my iPad pro yesterday and i love it. The sound is amazing. But I noticed my keyboard and lock sounds are very low. I don't want to return it as the rest works perfectly and I have heard some are having problems with a yellow tint to the screen which I don't have. Does the iOS 9.2 update fix the keyboard and lock sounds? I thought it was a software issue as speakers work great.

IT fixed mine too. All working ok. the iPad has to go back in its box now until Christmas. 😟 Looking forward to seeing how great the pro really is. thanks.

I Just updated my iPad Pro to 9.2 and it did nothing to fix the low volume of alerts. They are still barely audible.
