iPhone 6S Rose Gold Easily Scratched?

Hi,

I'm using an iPhone 6S Rose Gold and noticed a lot of tiny scratches on the side when there is a casing around the 4 sides. Thankfully, the screen has no issues with scratching but the sides are bothering me. I see one part of the side, the paint peeling off? I don't understand how it can still get scratches when it is fully covered.

Does anyone have why is this happening? How do I prevent it? How do I fix it?

All my gadgets are from Apple and it'll be a great pity if my iPhone 6S is easily scratched even WITH protection. Please help!

I have the same problem ! Is the chipping going to get worse ? What do I do to stop it ? Is it possible to get a replacement ? This is so disappointing especially because it happens to 6s Rose Gold. Should have bought 6 instead. My brother's iPhone 6 looks fine even though he bought it waaay earlier than mine.

I Have similar issues here the edges around the screen and antennae lines are all chipped off with small little black marks here and there. Used an apple approved red leather case. Singapore set here got it a month after launch at telco.

Hi, Just to know, has anybody noticed that rose gold colour on 6S and SE is more goldenish than pink as compared to demo phone in store?

I had actually raised this with apple and they have acknowledged the change in shade. Just checking if anybody else had noticed the difference.

I am using iPhone 6s gold colour phone and I am facing the same issue. Phone was covered in soft silicon protection cover from the day one and in spite of regular cleaning of the protection cover, there were colour peeled spots around the four edges and backside of the phone . Those scratch like spots are layer deep and white colour beneath is clearly visible and surface texture feels like patchy on touch. Is there anything to do about it, anyone facing the same issue ?

Hello. I experienced the same thing with my iPhone rose gold 6s plus. Bought mine in February, covered since day 1. Surprised to see black scratches at the side which I first thought was dirt. Im from the Philippines. Has anyone been successful in getting a replacement?

I thought I was the only one experiencing the same scenario coz my collegues doesn't have that scratches. I thought of moving on with these and just hide it with case. Yea, technician said that it's a cosmetic damage and not to be considered as dent but it so disgusting to be seen. Huhuhu. Can someone raise it to Apple and re collect or replace our phones. Too disappointing! :'(
