Instagram does not accept my correct password

I have over 13 000 followers on Instagram and can no longer log into my account.

I had to delete the app because it was getting slow and I wanted to do a fresh install.

After that, I could no longer log in. I have the correct password (which I never changed) but Instagram insists it is not the correct password.

I have logged in 20 times a day for months, and now I can no longer log in.

How can I get my Instagram account back?

Is there a trace of the Instagram password on my phone?

I have no idea why this is happening.

you would probably have better luck messaging the instagram developers, considering this is just the apple forum.

I did email Instagram several times.

They did not reply.

I'll give it another day, and then I'll simply try to reset the password.
