Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Then restart your iPad and see if you have 3G.

If that didn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Network Settings

Then restart you iPad one more time.

Yesterday, finally 9.3.1 arrived and was immediately installed. Clean installaction. This time I selected my iPad As new. No old data or application were restored. Huge expectations. However, after spending all that time I realised that.......

Still no 3G, No Signal. No connection.

This time I have "No Comments".

Giving up on Apple, it's products and it's updates.

joining the growing number who have problems with 3G after upgrading iPad 2's to ios9.3.

IN my case I am supporting a large number of users with iPad 2 who are experiencing the same thing.

What should I tell them apple?

for me the fix was as follows:

turn ipad off

re sim card

tturn iPad on

unlock and clear the SIM card error

insert SIM card

all ll the seems to work ok, until it is switched off

apple need to sort the issue out for the older devices,as they are still used daily across the globe.

Hi All,

Most reliable solution I've seen - although I have moved on - was the turn

off cellular data - turn off iPad - restart iPad - then turn on cellular -

seemed to work reliably when I was working with my "old" iPad 2. I've since

upgraded, and I think others found that worked reliably for them.

Regards,

Trevor

i did everything on this thread and this one worked! thank you! i was almost desperate and upset because what's the point of having an ipad with a sim slot if you can't even use the internet from the sim card?! i know ipad 2 is old but mine still works perfectly and i'm not intending to buy a new one.

btw. sorry for the rant. after my 3G comeback there's a message asking "carrier settings changed. do you want to upgrade?" and i chose yes. i hope the signal will stay because i've read a few posts that say the signal will be gone again after a few days. finger crossed it won't.

thanks again!
