For those having problems with the iOS 9.3 update please read...

So many people are having problems with the update to iOS 9.3 and the questions are flooding the iOS support forums now. I am hoping that by consolidating some of the information available, it will help some of you without starting hundreds of new threads all asking about the same things.

Please do not shoot the messenger if you already know all of this. I am just trying to help by providing some information To the community. Theses problems are well known, Apple has acknowledged them and is reportedly working on a fix that should be out soon.

Here are some tech site articles that explain the problems if any of you are interested in reading them. They are in no particular order other than what my most recent Google search turned up for me.

Apple posted these support articles a couple of days ago and they might help some of you as well

If you can’t activate your iPad 2 (GSM model) after you update to iOS 9.3 - Apple Support

If nothing suggested works for you right now, you will just have to be patient (remember that "please don't shoot the messenger" thing from above ) and wait until Apple issues the fixed software update.

That's great that Apple is "working on it", but in the meantime our devices are worthless other than for game. Email links are a VERY big deal for those of us on the road.

That being said, do you know of a way to revert back to the pre 9.0s1 software?

Thanks for taking the time to post those links. It is disappointing that Apple doesn't have these on their website.

Really happy to hear people are having success with 9.3.1 to date. i bet there were a lot of long nights at Apple LOL.

So now I sit with the 9.3 second build still downloaded, haven't deleted. I'm wondering if I should delete the second build and stick with my apparently working fine 9.3 first build or download the new 9.3.1 after deleting the first. I generally try to stick with the latest software but wonder if there is any benefit since this appears to be only a fix for the hyperlink issue. May just sit awhile and ponder.

i have an Ipad Pro 12.7" coming tomorrow, expect I will have to update the IOS. I'm going to keep my cranky Air but primarily for streaming both movies and music so may not bother updating at all and just decide what I will do for updating the Pro's IOS.. I also plan to set up the Pro as a new device rather than from a restore (as someone else said, a chance to clean up apps).

I have an Ipad 2. Very new to apple products so I don't know a lot about them. Ever since updating to 9.3 and 9.3.1 When it reboots after the update I have "No Service". I have Wifi etc but no Network service. I took out the Sim for my provider and reinserted it and then it searches and finds the sim and I have service. This is ok if you don't turn off the Ipad at all but it is more inconvenient. Never happened until the 9.3 update came through.

Anyone else having this issue

Afer having the "Unable to Verify Update" error message earlier this week, i successfully updated all but one devices to iOS 9.3 last night and the update to iOS 9.3.1 is working well for me. I had one device (iPhone 5) left still to update to 9.3. When I saw the 9.3.1 patch available on my other devices, I was hoping that the iphone would just update from iOS 9.2.1 to 9.3.1 all in one shot. But no luck, since it was only a patch, I had to update to 9.3 first and then 9.3.1.
