iPad Pro 9.7 Random Restart

I Have been reading on line about the conference and the random restart problem is not mentioned. The only software mentioned is IOS 10 which will be released in the fall. Nothing is said about restarts. I have been reading posts on the web and found that this problem with the iPad goes back to 2013 at least. Some had the readom restart with the IOS 8 update. I don't think this problem is going to be fixed anytime soon.

I have had this issue as well...128 cellular model. Mostly used with the keyboard. Cannot isolate it to one particular app

FWIW, I have both iPad Pro 9.7 and 12.9. Random restart happened in both iPads, regardless of the apps I use. I have tried resetting to factory state. I have upgraded to latest iOS as of today. Nothing fix it.

Interestingly, ZERO reboots on my iPad Air 1. Seems to affect the iPad Pro models.

Same issue here. Random restarts on a 256 gb wifi only iPad Pro. I hope that Apple will fix this.

Is anyone else having problems loading iTunes store. It won,t load even after all settings were reset. No problem on my phone or iMac. Tech support says they have been getting phone calls and are not sure if it's their server or the iPads, of course. Also, there are problems with the App Store. After the reseting the iPad it deleted a credit card from Apple Pay all by itself. What is going to happen next?... My patience with Apple is wearing thin. At this time I cannot recommend Apple.

Okay, I have installed iOS 10 on my 9.7" iPad Air 128 GB. This is a completely new operating system. It has fixed little irritations I have had here and there with iOS 9. I haven't had a single issue and this release is truly game-changing!

MIne is 128gb wifi + celluar version. I have a same issue. 😕

Yeah, it has been fixed in iOS 10, it will be available in July to those without a developer account through the open beta, it is a huge overhaul that works great. They have been working hard on this as it is nearly bug free. https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/

I have a silver 256 gb iPad pro 9.7 (cellular + wifi). I updated to 9.3.2 when it was released. Since the update the random crashes happen less frequently. Maybe 1 crash every 5 - 7 days. I am anxiously awaiting for the next update or iOS 10. I am hoping the crashes will become nonexistent with a future update.

II've been having the same problem with random restarts on my 64GB iPad Pro 9.7". Has happened with 3 or 4 different apps so I don't think it's an app issue.

Same issue, iPad Pro .9.7 128G cellular. Random app crash to the Apple boot logo, from email, Safari.... Pretty much any app. What I have noticed though is that some kind of media playing is often associated (memory problem?). Also have noticed Bluetooth devices that were paired now missing and need repairing. Possibly a media/Bluetooth driver issue for the iPad Pro chipset?

I am now using iOS 9.3.3 as a Beta Tester and still crashing all the time. This is a pain. Do we need to wait until September to get a fix for this.

I got my iPad Pro 9.7 32Gb cellular two days ago and has been doing random restarts since day one!! Upgraded my Air 2, which worked perfectly. Really annoyed, as it's such a fab iPad 😟

Does anyone know if the crash issue is mostly a problem for early adopters? About to buy my husband an iPad Pro 9.7 and I am wondering will it have the same problem as the one I bought in April.

Quite likely you will 😠. Apple should recall these iPads, as they are faulty, and not fit for sale!
