iPad Pro 9.7 Random Restart

Normally wouldn't think much of this but, I have a 2 day old iPad Pro 9.7 128GB that has restart on me twice so far. In the middle of using it, it will cut to the Apple logo on the black background for a minute before returning to the passcode screen. Oddly enough, it will accept Touch ID in place of a passcode, something it doesn't usually do when it loses power. Any idea on the cause or how to figure it out? I chatted with the tech support but they only help they could provide was to do a restore. I just performed it, but my concern is that I installed an app or enabled something causing the iPad to crash and it'll simply continue to do that due to the bad app.

I updated my Netgear Firmware and I am still getting crashes. What is going on here? This is unacceptable Apple!!

We have two iPad Pro 9.7 both using the same router one has the restart problem one doesn't. I have always updated my router firmware and still have the problem. I am on the latest firmware right now and still have the problem.

IO in Italia ho,avuto,moltissimi riavvii casuali anche non collegato in Wi-Fi ma con la Sim. Ho parlato con l'assistenza e hanno detto che mi diranno qualcosa in pochi giorni . I riavvii:

Just updating the router doesn't mean the new firmware of the router has fixed the NetUSB problem, some companies haven't found a way to fix the NetUSB problem and it affects millions of routers all around the world.

What Model is your router and what firmware version are you currently using. Some routers may end up needing to be replaced due to the NetUSB bug that is not Apple's issue.

What router are you using? Also what firmware is installed on it? It is very likely the source of your problem.

It is a NetUSB issue with your router, Apple can't fix other hardware you have that is causing the issue. What model wireless router and what firmware version are you using to connect to the internet?

I agree it is not a wifi issue. I think it is a hardware issue that Apple refuses to recognize and we may never see it fixed. I had this issue on the iPad air but it was fixed right away with a software update so why hasn't it been fixed this time.

Who started this wifi issue? It is complete and utter nonsense!! Don't you think Apple would know about it. You are all grasping at straws!! I'm fed up just like everyone else!! It just crashed again!! ARGHH!

What model router do you have and what firmware version does it have running on it? This is not an issue with the iPad Pro, it is a NetUSB problem with your router.

This is ridiculous!! Why doesn't Apple acknowledge the issue?? They will lose a lot of customers including me.

NETGEAR MODEL WNDR3400v3. Firmware version V1.0.1.4 (the most current) still contains the NetUSB security hole. Netgear has confirmed the defect is present, but has not released a fix for it.

You will need to purchase a different router to fix the issue you are having, it is not a problem with the iPad Pro.
