iPad Pro 9.7 Random Restart

Normally wouldn't think much of this but, I have a 2 day old iPad Pro 9.7 128GB that has restart on me twice so far. In the middle of using it, it will cut to the Apple logo on the black background for a minute before returning to the passcode screen. Oddly enough, it will accept Touch ID in place of a passcode, something it doesn't usually do when it loses power. Any idea on the cause or how to figure it out? I chatted with the tech support but they only help they could provide was to do a restore. I just performed it, but my concern is that I installed an app or enabled something causing the iPad to crash and it'll simply continue to do that due to the bad app.

My random restarts stopped with 10.2 but this ipad has multiple problems. The only things the techs can tell you to do is to factory reset. The problems keep changing. One time it was freezing and now pages in Safari turn white. Apple won't admit that these ipads are defective. They will do nothing except factory resets. How many times do you need to reset the iPad to get it to work for awhile until Apple admits there is a problem..They won't admit any of their products are defective.

I have a bug report into Apple and they asked for my crash logs. It's definitely a safari issue /multitasking issue. Almost everyon here is having the problem when exiting safari or going into multitasking from safari. There's most likely a memory leak with safari or the springboard (multitasking, home screen, app switcher) that is causing the crash. This hopefully gets fixed ASAP as its a hindering experience

Can anyone with the 9.3.2 beta check to see if it's fixed at all??

After two days without a crash my hopes were up! Sad to say I've gone back to having a crash about once a day...

i Too believe that ii's software, but, what I had before the iPad Pro 128gb 9.3.1 was a iPad Air 32gb 9.3.1. The iPad Air was on version 9.3.1 for a week or two and no crashes were taking place. I then got my Pro to increase my gb size. When I got the pro and loaded my icloud into it I then updated the pro to 9.3.1. It arrived from UPS and was still at version 9.3. The friend I gave the Air to hasn't told me of any trouble. So, it seems like iPad Pro is having trouble with the same software that iPad Air isn't having. They both have 9.3.1. Hmmm, hope they can find the trouble!!

I agree but he went in the back twice and said he looked it up somehow. The first time he went back he said he didn't look to see because he was trying to tell me I would have to set up as new before he could help me. I told him I had already done that several times and he had the case number where I had been talking to second tier support. Anyway I hope he knows what he is talking about.
