how can I permanently remove apps that I no longer use

Hi. You said Deleting Apps is off in Restrictions. That means deleting is explicitly disallowed. You need to change, or turn off, Restrictions to delete apps.

The only way I could make it work was to go to:
- Settings
- General
- Restrictions
--> change the button to "Deleting Apps"
And, also do:
- Allowed Content
- Apps
- Select "4+"

What about when an app like HOOCKED download their app in your phone without permission and it is impossible to delete them!?
Apps can't download themselves, if you didn't download it from the App Store onto your phone somebody must have used the phone and done so
Hi Gracerur. You may have installed a profile along with the app. Check Settings > General > Profiles. It won't appear if you have no profile.
How do I permanently get rid of an app? I delet it from my home page, but they are saved in my the App Store & I can reinstall them. I want them to be gone gone gone!
