iPhone 7 gps and cell dropping

So, had my new phone for about 4 hours now and have had both GPS and cell service drop at the same time at least 8 times- typically only for about 2 minutes but as I was traveling and using navigation it was very difficult. Anyone else had this problem?

if this problem happen to iPhone 7 means trouble is with the iPhone 7 not with the network provider. I am in UK on 3 network and since day one i notice significan dropping in the signal, 4G only in an ideal conditions and once signal goes to 3G never returns to 4G , wifi was also weaken than the iPhone 5s 6 and 6s. However I never had total lost of GPS and only few times had No Signal. I found similar problems ppl had with previous iPhone releases ., 5s and 6s, but now these phones works a treat, maybe Apple knows about the issue and works on a solution but will take some time, or just there are faulty components inside the first produced iPhones 7's.

Tried two things on my way to work today:

1. Turned off cellular roaming - GPS signal was still lost.

2. Turned off LTE - restricted to 3G speeds but GPS worked fine.

For my situation, I still feel this is more of a software/hardware issue with Apple since GPS works fine on my daughters iPhone 6s. I haven't noticed any issues with data or voice calls dropping only GPS losing connection.

That sounds more like just a bad GPS and I would think there is a decent show it would be fixed with a new phone. If there really is a problem with the GPS, Apple should replace it under warranty.

The problem most of the people in this thread are talking about seems to be related to the hand-off between cell towers causes both the service and GPS to drop (while the GPS is technically separate from the cell capabilities) they interact when A-GPS is being used.
