Updating my previous post. I am having the same problem with my Since getting my iPhone 7 (128 GB, Verizon)
When I use Waze, apple and google maps the signal weakens in areas with adequate cell coverage and then gets stuck on "no service". Like others I have noticed it happens on Waze the most.
This is everything I have tried so far
- Resetting Network Settings - No Effect
- Diagnostics performed at Apple Genous Bar - No Issue shown
- Updated carrier settings
- Factory reset and starts as new phone
- Factory reset and restore from backup
- New SIM card
- Updated iOS to 10.0.2
- Deleted google maps and waze and reinstall.
The only fix is turn off Voice over LTE, which is unacceptable solution.
Settings> Cellular> Cellular Data Options> Enable LTE> Data Only.
If it is software or carrier issue why is it happening to only some people with Iphone 7’s?
Has anyone gotten their phone replaced?
