iPhone 7 - Keeps Freezing!!!

I have just taken on the iPhone 7. I have noticed a couple of issues:

1) Freezing: When I open, contacts or whats app... it just stays on that screen. The lock button, or home button does not work. This will last for about 1.5 minutes!!!! Then the phone will be ok, but may take a few pictures ... this is maybe me pressing the lock and home button together

2) Camera - a lot of the times when I open the camera, I get just a black screen where the camera is, then after a couple of seconds my camera comes on....

Has any one else had these issues, and any help with it? I presume its an ios issue rather than a phone issue?

Have apple confirmed they are aware of these problems yet?

It's so frustrating and not a glimpse of an update yet?

My iPhone 7 keeping keyboard freeze after IOS 10.1.1 updated, soft reset and factory restore to no avail.

Very disappointing....😢

I have the same issue. Got mine early October and kept thinking it was just IOS related... next patch would get it. Well I am now on 10.1.1 and have been at my wits end. 3 resets today alone. Seems to be keyboard related for sure. Apple supports only answer is reset to new device. THAT DOES NOT HELP!!!

Apple are currently beta testing 10.2. Hoping it will be released before Xmas with a fix to this issue!

Couldn't get in Apple Store Louisville yesterday, but spoke on phone to Ken non-tech person, who said he had never seen this issue but he's not a tech...but yes he's heard that....AND I QUOTE: "a few 7s have issues...but if you read the bad stuff on those Apple forums, that is just like reading WebMD...and you think it is worse than it is." Great response to someone who is fed up...just makes me more furious with the Apple establishment.

Ken agreed with the online Apple Support I spoke w 2 nights ago: get your phone back in here ASAP within the 14-day window as there are more options for replacement..new phone no questions asked. I explained to him if a new phone doesn't solve the issue, as it has not for many people with the same exact issue that I have.....I do not have time to deal with this....let him know how very frustrating this is. My phone works first thing but after a couple hours just freezes up across all platforms except to make a phone call.

If my time went past 14 days, and my phone was doing this, I'd make them take it back...regardless if time was past.

Our time is our money too Apple! Posting my displeasure on FB now.

I am set to go in Apple Store this Tuesday 10 am walkin, his best suggestion to avoid holidays.

I Have a brand. new iPhone 7 and am very frustrated and upset that I bought this phone.Whenever I try to send

messages it freezes and all of the buttons stop working.Today I was trying to send my 16 year old Grandaughter a

birthday message and it kept freezing before I could send her a message.This should never happen with a new,very expensive phone.Apple needs to step up and fix these problems!!!!

It's a pain but, when my phone freezes I press and hold the power button and the volume down button until the phone starts to reset itself.

This happens to me too, don't know the root cause but I just palm-slap the screen about 5-10 times (sounds stupid) but when I'm angry at it for freezing it decides to work shortly after lol.

Add me the list my iPhone 7 freezes often while browsing r texting sum one even sum times on the lock screen.....even antutu benchmark score of my iPhone is 1,12,317 where as other iPhone 7s as score of 1,68,689 and 1,72,549 don't know whether it is software issue or the hardware please help me guys software is uptodate 10.1.1

I have a iPhone 7 also, but mine freezes on the Phone Message and I have to turn the phone off and turn back on again. Should not have to worry about this issue. Why is this happening, my iPhone 5 worked better.

I am als experiencing freezing issues on my 7 plus, as well as poor sound quality and no sound via a headset. No matter if apple or third party. In addition to the phone freezing. I am unable to make calls as a tesult of the phone not working properly. This is completely disappointing for a brand new phone!

I called apple, they had me restore the iphone. It was not straight forward and tiok a lot of time to complete. I am very busy and don't have time for tgis kind of stuff. Why doesn't the phone work? Is there any product testing or quality control?
