iPhone 7 - Keeps Freezing!!!

I have to experienced the same issue. It started happening after updating to 11.X version.

1. Sometime Whatsapp ui completly breaks.

2. Phone hangs for a while. Even home button doesn’t work and after 30-60 Sec it responds.

3. After update camera settings were not as good as earlier.

4. Slowness in application usage.

Did anyone experienced the same. How to get these issues resolved?

I had an iPhone 7 which I got back in May - it kept freezing when I tried to take photos, call or open apps - and this problem was sporadic with no particular reason or precipitating factor. Apple were useless when I wanted to complain about the product, instead offering an inappropriate technical contact who was unable to help and in the end the retailer gave me a replacement iPhone 7 - which still has the same problem. Apple have been silent when it comes to taking responsibility for their products and have not discussed the issue or written to me - the iPhone 7 and Apples attitude has completely pushed me away from their products and I am now looking at iPhone 7 alternatives to replace the (second) faulty iPhone with.

Try a reboot press the power button down &the side down volume button Hold both down until you see apple logo this can take 30 seconds.

Have you got the latest ios software update 11.2

I’m having the same issue. Apps crashing, not starting, browsers not responding.

It can be any app and they just stop responding or freezing up. I was going to restore the firmware and I couldn’t even turn “find my phone” off.

I had to reboot my phone then it works for about 10 min then again I start having the same issues over and over. I’m about ready to toss this $600 phone through the window.

Is Apple avoiding this problem? I won’t put up with this any longer. Going to the Apple Store tomorrow to see what they say and put in a complaint with them.

I’m facing the same kind of issue with my iPhone 7+.

While sliding from left to right on widget screen and also while scrolling up and down on widget screen my display is getting hung.

I’ve tried restarting my phone many times to solve this problem but it did not work and I’m facing the same problem constantly 😑

Even I’m facing the issue my battery. It’s getting draining very fast like I have to charge my phone 2-3 times per day.

I hope Apple can help me to solve this problem asap.

This has been happening to me for a while now, both the phone freezing and the black camera. The freezing just happened again whilst on messaging sometimes it lasts a second or it lasts minutes and still have no idea why it’s doing it. It’s up to date software wise. I thought it might have been a software update because it started just after one. But since then IOS has updated further and it still continues. Usually you can unfreeze it with the power button if it’s a minor freeze but the last was more of a neither Home nor power was responding for a good 5 minutes, neither was the slide down from the top but it was weird it was still letting me touch the keyboard ⌨ and nothing else.

Even my battery has started draining a lot quicker. Sometimes it barely lasts the day like normal. :/ not sure if it’s becayse the phones a year and a bit old now. But if it gets any worse I don’t think I’ll be sticking with Apple much longer.

Me2 my iphone 7 plus 256gb crashes a lot, normally i was a true believer in apple product.

But i have this phone almost a year. And it is almost 2 or 3 times a weak that it freeze. On that moment i can’t do anything with it..... for more dan 2 min.

On that reason, i don’t promot iphone any more to other people 😢.

it’s really said that it isn’t working properly, for all that money to buy a phone that crashes a lot. 😩

I have had my Iphone 7 for less than a year and have random issues with it. Sometimes my phone freezes up and won’t let me open any of my apps. Sometimes my iPhone says I have 4 bars but nothing loads(safari, instagram, Snapchat, etc) and I reset my phone and it fixes the problem. I honestly think that with my phone not even a year old I should not have these problems!!

I see the same behaviour like you.

Freezing, I'm not able to reproduce it but it happent twice. The home button stops responding. I feel the taptic click but nothing respone. Also all the other "hardware" button dont respone. (the power button, mute of volume up /down) after a couple time I see all the action I did (home, mute vol up ect) and then the phone response again.

(The screen keeps responsive all the time when the other button don't)

I setup my iphone 7 as a new Iphone.

I've had the same issues and I've had the iphone 7 for less than a week!!

Constantly freezing and inserting space in the top of the screen even though there are no other apps open.

I'm going back to o2 for a replacement!

I have the same problem, happened 5 times. Once it freezes and push on an app another app opens. I am not a pls to turn the phone off or hard reset.

If hard reset is not resolving your issue, it is best to restore the device back to factory settings through iTunes.

Yes mine has just started to freeze, there is no way of doing a reset as it just takes a picture, i'm now waiting to see if it sorts itself out. [15 min still nothing]

Not happy, would of thought they would of sorted this out with an update by now.

I've been experiencing that too, from time to time whenever i unlock the phone it gets to the home screen but with no status bar and no buttons respond, i have to hold home and sleep/wake for a couple of minutes (more than a couple, actually) and then the phone reboots itself.

I was expecting this to be addressed by 10.0.2 but no luck, has anyone reported this issue to Apple directly yet?

Add me to the list. Seems to happen randomly. I'm really starting to get upset. May have to get with Apple on this. Not sure if it's an IOS issue or a hardware issue.
