iPhone 7 - Keeps Freezing!!!

I had the same issue for three times on my iPhone 7 32GB, the home button and other physical controls didn't work,only the display and the touch worked. The first two times it back to work alone after 1-2 minutes, but today it froze while I was registering a contact in the phonebook and it hasn't returned to work alone, I had to restart it with the hard reset. I bought this iPhone on launch day and I encountered this issue the first time after a week when the iPhone was on the lockscreen. My frined had the same issue with his iphone 7 128GB.

Same with me, it has happened a few times. freezes on chat or txt messages and i see the cursor blinking but i cant type or anything. Think its time to reach out to apple for this fix!

I have the camera black screen problem in my iPhone 7 128gb . it happened 3-5 times for now. I have updated mine to 10.0.3. and still don't see any resolution on the camera issue.

My iPhone 7 was freezing on the homescreen after logging in with touch iD. When rebooting I kept getting the black screen with the Apple logo, for 10 minutes. Tried it over an over, but no result. When I put the iPhone into DFU mode it updated the phone to 10.0.3 and I was able to use my phone again. Hoping the freezing will stop now..

Same problem for me, I've had my 7+ for only 3 days! On IOS 10.0.3 would freeze then get stuck on the apple logo. Had to restore through iTunes, hope this works......

i asked a Apple Genius online help and he suggested me to go to the service centre. But i tried to restore my phone & it works. Hope this helps. Try to back up iPhone every few days. Just in case this happen.

I have an Iphone 7 Plus 256gb with IOS 10.0.3. i have the exact same problem when I launch my camera app, first for abt 3 seconds it will give me the black screen then the camera is normal and starts to work. It mostly happens to my primary 12 MP camera and the selfie camera only occassionally. I dont know if it is hardware or software issue. but whatevr it is if you guys know please let me know.

I have had my iPhone 7 for about 3 weeks and it seems to freeze when using the keyboard. Doesn't matter what app, but the common is the keyboard use. Have to swipe up the app to close it and that usually works. Other times I have to power cycle it with the wake button and volume down button.

Oh, and this happened with 10.0.1, 10.0.3. Now i have updated to the 10.1 to see if that will fix it. My wife got the same phone at the same time and her does not do that.

I just upgraded to 10.1 and my iPhone 7 froze at the home screen and after a few minutes restarted on its own. 10.1 did not fix the problem for me. I am disappointed in Apple.

hhave had my 7 plus for 3 weeks and the problems started aftr a week. Maybe after 10.02 update. very random. Sometimes it'll freeze up as I receive a regular call or viber message. other times, no reason. Phone would be lying there for 30 mins, no activity. I'll pick it up and it's frozen solid. Hard reset fixes it. I thought the 10.1 update would fix it, but happened today again.

OH yeah apple employees will never acknowledge a problem. I bought my phone 1st week of oct and the hissing issue was well known. employees were like hmm first time we've heard of that. Of course my phone has that issue too.

the lock ups might be a hardware issue as the phone warms quite a bit too.

i have just updated mine to IOS 10.1, it does not have any problems. Hopefully no problems.

I'm getting the same problem with my iPhone 6s. Was on IOS 9.3.5 (wish I could go back) and since updating through the IOS 10.0.2 to 10.1 string, my phone continues to lock up in the messages, mail, phone, etc apps to the point that my phone just won't work. I had none of these issues until I went to IOS 10. I have tried doing a complete setup as a new phone today and still happening. I also tried turning off the predictive text and corrective text with no change. It would be nice if I could use the phone I have had for almost a year now. I almost can't use the thing since the phone app freezes too. I hope this can be resolved soon.

I Was having the same problem with my 7+ Too. It would get really hot then started to lag. Then finally when I tried to restart it got stuck an the apple logo. I had to hook it up to my mac to get it going again. Since then (sunday) no problems and I updated to 10.1 last night and good so far too.
