iPhone 7 plus stuck on black screen with spinning wheel

How do I fix this? I've already tried to reset, enter DFU mode, recover from iTunes. Nothing works. I can't use iTunes because it asks me to grant access from my unresponsive iPhone. DFU mode doesn't work, the screen won't turn off no matter what combination of seconds I hold the buttons for. This has been going on for over an hour. Do I just wait for the battery to die? Please note I don't live in the US or U.K. or anywhere with an Apple Store that I can take it to.

Thanks

this just happened to my iPhone 7plus. Siri was chatting to me on a black screen, I backed up my iPhone to my MacBookPro 15 inch retina, and tried via several different ways to turn it off. Thankfully the solution above worked. I was a bit freaked out in that I didn't want to be w/o a phone for the next two and a half days over New Years. Whew. and TY for this topic thread on the issue and the solution.
