iPhone 7+ hissing noise

just talked to Senior Apple Advisor, i was told that apple is aware of this issue and engneers are looking into this issue.

was informed that iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus having this issue. And there is no guarantee that new replaced phone wont make similar hissing noise. I asked if all phones had this issue, all owners would reported it, however there are some reported cases, so it means there are normal iPhones which are functioning fine. To me it sounds like an defect in the production/manufacture line, processor supplier problem, etc.

Apple just does not want to bring it up officially. shame for the company like apple. No complaints they will replace it, but for me as a customer and apple fan i will consider other products from now on.

APple wants to improve and make powerful processor (i understand that) but please deliver completely functioning solution,, not partially. It's not finished product, but it's already on the shelves in the Stores.

Still going tomorrow to the apple store for replacement. And i do not believe that all iPhone 7/7Plus having this issue, otherwise there were more reported cases in the internet.

Update: Last Friday, the iOS Senior Advisor let me know that after the engineers reviewed the diagnostics files I sent over, they determined that my iPhone does need repair or replacement. On Sunday, I went into an Apple Store (different from the one where I received my 1st replacement) to get another replacement. After taking down all the notes of the hissing issue again, the Apple customer rep gave me an iPhone 7 Plus replacement.

I was expecting to get another defective phone, but I'm happy to report that my 2nd replacement phone is hiss-free! I tested the phone with all the usual processor intensive tasks (restoring a back up and re-downloading 100+ apps; running games, etc.) and the sputtering hiss/machine sound was no longer there.

APple says it's not a defect. We - clients - it's a defect.

You, Apple, CAN NOT say that because of high productive processor which you installed, there is ok to have hissing sound from it! Just acknoledge it's a defect.

went to apple store, ordered replacement. Will be in 3-5 days. 2nd time. I will be going to the store until i have 100% functioning phone. Will post the results soon.

UPdate: my 4th replaced iPhone 7+ 128gb does not make hissing sound anymore.

I have the iphone 7 plus, had the same problem and today went to get a replacement but it still has the same hissing sound which is so annoying when recording video. You think this can be fix by software? because if not I am going to return it for a refund this time.

Hi! So, if you try to record a video and then listen to it, doesn't record any hissing noise?
