iphone keeps asking me to sign into itunes store

Greetings, I had the same issue on both my iPhone and IPAD. The request to sign-in to ITUNES kept flashing up every 10 seconds, totally disabling both units. After much reading and time wasting, I eventually connected both my iPhone and IPAD to my desktop via a cable and then synced manually. While syncing I deselected all of the previous music/videos etc. Then selected just one song and synced it. Once successfully synced, the error went away. I then reselected my music/videos wanted and synced again.

Yes, it's a PIA (Pain in the A_s). Personally, I'd like to smack the programmer for not offering a SKIP feature when this error presents itself.

I have this problem too but I’ve never had a different Apple ID been using this one for 15 years. Cloned my old 6s onto my new X and the iTunes password request keeps popping up. It asks for the password to my current Apple ID though not an old one. So not sure if the old app situation applies to me? Anyone got any ideas on this twist of the problem ?

You likely have apps that were acquired using a different Apple ID and now want to be updated..

Deleting the iTunes app will not make this go away, as it would be the apps themselves asking for the update, which creates the prompt.

Remove those apps and the prompts will stop.

Did you sign out of the iTunes store before removing the app?

If you want a resolution, you may have to restore the phone using iTunes.

Again, I believe you, but your phone does not.

If you check settings > iTunes and App Store, is there an email address signed in?

If not, I will suggest again that a restore of your phone might be your only resolution.

You did not want to entertain the idea that there is an app on your phone asking for an update. The prompt is coming from somewhere.

I literally have the same problem and its driving me insane!!! If i figure out a way to get rid of it i ll definitely let you know.

Which "this" did you try? Removing old apps?

Deleting and reinstalling the old apps. It doesn't seem to have any pattern either just happens completely randomly regardless of what I'm doing with the phone.

How did you figure out which app it was? i just received an insurance replacement, and it is doing the same thing and it's so frustrating, I cannot do anything on the phone! thank you in advance
