iPhone 6 (not 6s) shut down with iOS 10.2

Hello community,

I've noticed and recorded an issue that has come up a few times in recent days following iOS 10.2 update on iPhone 6. Also on an iPhone 5S.

Our household has 2 iPhone 6's in regular use (me & my wife), as well as my son with an iPhone 5s.

With about 30% available battery life available, the unit goes black, and essentially shut down.

When I hit the power button, or plug in the Lightning Connector cable with power on the other end (or into a MBP), I see the "No battery - red on one end", and white icons to plug in the cable screen.

This has happened on all of our devices with iOS 10.2. After plugging in for about a minute, the iPhone would come back to life with now 35% battery life. Kind of weird behavior.

I have two crash logs.. Yes, I'm an independent iOS developer who can get these logs easily.

Here's a portion of the two logs I mentioned from my iPhone 6:

As I mentioned, I'm an iOS developer and can post a bug report (radar), but thought I'd mention here to see if others were receiving this issue as well.

Thanks!
