My iphone 6 is constantly searching for network without success. I have tried a full factory restore but that doesnt work. The carrier option is missing in settings so I can't do a manual search. The SIM works fine in other phones and I tried another SIM in the phone (different network) and that also fails to find Network. Any solutions? Thanks

I had the same issue. I tried a different network SIM on it, and it started working. Thus, it seems the problem is related to the carrier. I have called and lodged a complaint with them. But, for sure, it is the carrier as the moment I try a different SIM, it gets to normal.
The only thing that worked was from iFixit (Christopher Castillo): Freeking genius. I tried everything including sim v sim, airplane mode on off, hard reset, new OS, network settings reset, all reset, squeeze, nothing worked until the "drop" fix. Then like a charm, LTE. wow.. Thanks Ella but part of the problem is that the Settings > Cellular Data. has also disappeared.

Definately not the SIM or carrier. Put my SIM in another iPhone and it works just fine. Put my daughers SIM in my phone same problem. 100% a problem with the phone.
