Hi everyone,
Since a few weeks it happens that my alarm clock doesn't come on with sound every time. When I wake up and set it just for checking, it rings again. It happened about 5 times, one time I woke up while it was alerting, but only the screen showed the alarm.
I really depend on this alarm clock but I can not trust it anymore :-( what to do?

My alarm was also going silent after a single alert. Just started doing this after I got a replacement and figured out that it was because "Attention Aware Features" was turned on. When I turned the feature off, alarm started working as normal. I think the feature turns alarm to silent as soon as I move it or it recognizes my face ID.
To turn it off go to Settings-->Face ID and Passcode--> Attention Aware Features = off
This is not useful information as all the people replying have done this, and the problem has NOT been solved. We need better solutions Apple.

Yes, that is definitely the issue for some people. Unfortunately, not for all.
Similar problem with iPhone X and iOS 11.2.5. "Clock" app volumes (alarm, timer) are somewhat randomly low volume, regardless of "Change with buttons" setting for Ringers and Alerts. Sometimes, the alarm starts loud, but quickly diminishes.
My ipad2 alarm suddenly wouldn’t sound after the 10.3.3 latest update. Luckily I set 2 alarms on my phone and use the iPad as he backup. When I tested the alarm sounds under options, they would not sound until I checked “none” and then re-tried the other sounds. Hopefully that’s a full fix and not just a one-day fix.
I’ve had the same issues with my iPhone X.
The entire phone goes into a silent state.
Even the lock click doesn’t make a sound.
Videos don’t play noise on Facebook. The entire device is silent.
I had this issue this morning. Not for the first time. If it wasn’t for me setting my iPad as well as iPhone I’d be late for work because of a bug that needs to be fixed.
A phone should not be turning itself into a silent mode overnight.
I also noticed my iPhone asked for my passcode.
Which only happens when the phone is rebooted.
Which I didn’t do.
So comes to question... Is my iPhone restarting itself during the night as well?
This issue needs resolving. It is a major need in people’s lives.
I I am having the same problems. Alarm sound not working, randomly the phone goes into silent mode on videos on different social media platforms.
Have to resart the phone in order for it work.
This my 8th iphone I have owned and you expect the latest X-phone alarm to work, so annoying,
how can i trust it when traveling? It has already made me late for work a couple of times.

I'm having the same issue. It happens randomly. This morning I had two alarms set and neither went off. I have confirm all the suggestions. This has happened a number of times, and once I missed a flight. Please fix this issue!
