iOS 11 incredibly slow on iPhone 7 Plus

So frustrated - iOS11 installed perfectly and works great on my iPad Pro. Installed on my iPhone 7plus (with 90GB free space) a few hours later and the phone is essentially unusable. The install went OK but when I click on any app (3rd party or native iOS - like Mail or Messenger) - there is a 20 second delay before the app opens. Unable to make or receive phone calls, texts.

Reset network settings, then all settings, then a complete erase / restore - still slow as Christmas. My phone, at this time, is essentially useless. Google Searches don't show this as a common problem - I'm hoping someone here has experienced this and has a suggestion?

I'll join the choir.
I have the exact same problems on my iPhone 7 (128 GB): Extreme lag, no sound, no vibration. I've tried reinstalling as new phone without it helping. Rolling back to 10.3.3 gave me a working phone again.

Please fix this ASP!

I'm still skeptical - especially since I'm reading Apple has turned off the ability for users to downgrade. I need to see more details on 11.0.3 before I take the plunge. Their release notes only reference the 6s - not the 7s (see screenshot / attachment). I need to see more success stories.

Anymore who were stuck on iOS 11 (after Apple stopped signing iOS 10.3.3), with the symptoms

- no Sound

- no microphone

- no vibration (haptic feedback)

- 8-10 second lag when touching the screen

who has succesfully upgraded to iOS 11.0.3 and now have a working phone again?

I really wanna try iOS 11.0.3, but I'm currently running 10.3.3 and don't really feel like risking it right now. A couple of positive updates would indeed help.

Oh and I updated to 11.1 tonight, ... it’s no better

And I did back my phone up and wiped it and did a restor ... was decent for about 5 hours, then turned back into the same slow sluggish garbage that 11 brought in the first place

I'm experiencing the same issue. When you roll back to 10.3.3 is it a given that I will have to setup my phone from scratch? What a royal pain this is!!!

ok, that's what i was thinking. I didn't do a manual backup so i guess i'm screwed in that regards.

I keep getting an error when I try to roll back to 10.3.3. Did apple already stop giving the ok for this? Thought I would still be in the window.

I am experiencing similar issues on my iPhone 6 plus. Tried rebooting, hard restarts, same behavior. In addition, there seems to be a terrible battery drain.

I've none of these issues on my 7 Plus, so your problems certainly aren't universal.

Are you seeing this behavior with particular apps, or just with some?

What is your configuration?

I am having the same issue on my iPhone SE 64gb even unlocking my phone takes a while not to mention when I wanna switch apps I have to wait...

yes. i did that too. and yes people need to pound on apple a little more. I've had iPhones since day 1 and beta tested everything and I've never seen a release this bad.

I have waited 3 days. I get error 26 when trying to restore to 10.3.3
