iOS 11 incredibly slow on iPhone 7 Plus

I noticed another error yesterday before I talked to Apple Support.

After installing iOS 11 and got no sound, I wanted to see if maybe audio from video would work. I surfed to youtube and tried playing a random video. That just got me an error - couldn't play the video. I tried multiple videos, all with the same outcome. Back in iOS10 I tried the same videos and they all played without problems.

*** he claims he reads his email. so i sent him my extensive caseID and a list of my issues with the 7+ under ios11. 11.1 beta is out. I don't see anything in the docs about the issues we face here. meh..... lets see if Big Tim responds..........

Now that is very interesting. Forum members, much more experienced that I, frequently state that Apple does NOT sell spare parts. The explanation is that replacement parts are either stolen or removed from other iPhones.

That's in line with what my local repair shop told me. Basically, they stated that if anyone besides Apple claims to be using genuine OEM screens for replacement, those screen were either obtained illegally, or they are lying.

Yeah, now I'm confused after reading hgpilot2's comment.

Well after intalling iOS 11.0.1 the issues are still there. And i like to mention it does not seems to be related to the screen (original or not) since I did not had any replacement on my iPhone 7 Plus (128gb)

Yep, this is the exact same behavior my 128GB 7 Plus is exhibiting.

I've just spoken to my local (non Apple authorised) repair shop here in a small town in the UK and he's had more than a handful people with the same problem on various models of iPhone, some which have never been repaired.

The mystery deepens...

Indeed I will 🙂 The reason I'm going is that the Apple rep, who I've been in contact with by phone and email over the last week, hasn't responded for three days, despite daily requests for an update with my case, so I've basically just lost faith. The engineers have had two lots of logs for five days and so far, come up with no suggestion for a fix what so ever.

That's good news, but I haven't had my screen replaced! I had my camera and lens replaced by a non official Apple repairshop (back side), but not my screen (if they did, then they broke the original screen and replaced it without telling me).

But very nice if Apple's working on it and that it wasn't intentional.

Is there really still no solution to this problem? I updated my fully functioning 7+ from iOS 10 yesterday morning and it essentially turned my phone into a paperweight. I'm experiencing all the issues listed in this thread. Is the only fix a replacement from Apple under warranty? I've tried literally everything to fix it at this point.

So frustrating, I've tried with no success to roll back to iOS 10. Looks like I'll be making the drive out to my closest Apple store as I really can't wait for Apple to get it together. 😟 It seems like this has been an issue they've been aware of for quite some time so it's pretty shocking they haven't addressed it yet in any of those 3 patches

none. zip. like i posted earlier don't expect help for any issue not related to ios11 that does not affect the 8, 8+ and "X" if it ever ships. i trust apple and i really believe, with the release of three new HW platforms and a major firmware release all at the same time , they are resource constrained. having said that let me also say ENOUGH FIX THE F!@#$%$^ PROBLEM APPLE. ahh i feel better now ;-)

I am not going to go past 10.3.3. Apple stop signing it yesterday I believe. So if I roll up to 11.0 .3 and my phone refuses to dial out again and other nasty performance issues I am so screwed
