ios 11 update phone freezing

Hi, I updated to ios 11 on my 64GB iPhone 6s without any issues. But since doing so my phone has stopped working 3 times. The problem is that the phone freezes and I can't press any apps or open app switcher, it's just dead. I have to do a force restart to get back up running again.

Exact same issue... Wasn't immediate after update, just started a day or two ago. I've had to hard reset 3-4 times now. Several otherwise reliable apps open very slow or more often crash without opening

I’ve been facing same issue Andy Iran so anoyingafter every 10 minutes of phone locked and opened I can’t even enter the lock code to open phone. Have Tom restart several times using hard reset to get freaking phone working.

My phone is iPhone 6Plus and in less than 6 month so of brand new phone purchase I started facing blue screen to death error and Apple garb me refurbished phone in return to my new phone. NOw after using this phone for almost 2 years I Hear this issue suggestions as there Jan 3rd party OSD not supporting some drivers.

Now Apple how should i trust your company now as you have given me a second hand product in favour of complete new handset I have purchased and now this error is so ridiculous that you want me to spend money coz you’re display driver (if this isn’t cause) is not supportive in iOS 11.

Should I claim to Apple for this pathetic service and releases.

Apple has made amends by offering a battery replacement for $29 after fear of lawsuits, when they are the ones that caused the issue? Sorry Apple but why should we the consumers pay for your issue and you have made the older phones slow for a purpose? To sell newer phones, I just got my Iphone 8 (I will be returning it) yesterday and did a back up from my 6s, why is the 8 not experiencing the issues that my 6s is? What's the difference between the 6s and 8? Faster processor, camera and that's it and yet the 6s is still a great phone, but Apple intentionally sabotaged the 6s and now expects the consumer to pay $29 for a battery replacement? They have to make the money up somehow for those that will not be upgrading and are using older phones (THINK ABOUT IT)

Same here! The new ios 11 is a killer! 10.3.3 was good! Why do they always have to mess with a good thing and then no allow the os to be reverted to an older version.

Anyhow, I downloaded the app "Battery Life" which does state my battery has severely degraded (new ios related possible), but will be swapping batteries if that doesn't fix it I might be switching back to android.

There is a long, long thread in here about how bad 10.3.3. is and how it kills the performance of the iPhone. I guess all you have to do is release a new version and poof the old version is good.

No, your battery being severely degraded had nothing to do with any iOS upgrade. They have a finite lifetime that varies on how the iPhone is used.

And I guarantee you most of the people in this forum don't care if you go back to android. Maybe you should have bought a Note 7.

This reply was kind of self-righteous. Why do some people believe that because a problem hasn't hit them, the problem doesn't exist... "Well it isn't raining where I live, so rain does not exist!"

I too have this freezing issue, it persisted with the device completely reset, with no apps or data installed. Apple have got genuine code problems, and I know plenty of other users experiencing this issue.

Steve Jobs would have never let this happen.. Shame on you Apple. I have been an Apple fan boy since iphone3. The only reason I tried a Samsung was because of the size of the screen. Since the 6Plus I knew I would never go back to Android... Untill now....... I am so disappointed... My 6Plus has frozen every other day since os11 update and sometimes more than three times a day.............. When Android users would ask me why iphone, I would always say, because it just works... all the time... untill now...........

I contacted Apple they agree to get me new battery since I am out of

warranty however no batteries in SG overall.

Shows how many users in queue with same issue.

Apple should really think about their relationship now as I’ve lost trust

in iPhone or iOS devices afters few repeated mistakes and updates making

our pockets shell out for their inappropriate product rollouts.
