Hi, I updated to ios 11 on my 64GB iPhone 6s without any issues. But since doing so my phone has stopped working 3 times. The problem is that the phone freezes and I can't press any apps or open app switcher, it's just dead. I have to do a force restart to get back up running again.

My phone is back to normal again🙂 i tried nearly everything .
Delete phone reload icloud did’nt fix it 😒
Delete phone Through apple configurator 2 did’nt fix it 😒
But then i noticed the problem was showing at most when i use Tinder 😂 so uninstall tinder and boom problem fixed ! I also tried to install tinder again and phone is still good and with no errors 😀 so guys uninstall Tinder 😄 Maybe other Apps Will do the same , but for me it was Tinder
Thanks Sean. Couldn’t find one to suit there. It will freeze randomly during normal use. I will maybe go into my local store at lunch.

Same happens to me with an iPhone 6S. Noticed it since 11.0.2, no hangs on 11.0.1. No hangs on iPad with 11.0.1 either.
I'm recommending all my friends and family not to update to iOS 11 yet. Sad.
And can you explain why should I waste all my time to fix that problem which has nothing to do with me?
This is a nightmare! I have the same issues and I really think they purposely break our phones so we have to buy a new one. This has happened to all of my iphones over the last 5 years.
Maybe iOS 11.0.3 addresses only an issue on some iPhone 6s with replaced displays that were not serviced with genuine Apple parts. But in general the bug is still exist in iOS 11.0.3.
I updated to IOS 11 and it was the worst decision that i have ever made in my life. if you can downgrade to IOS 10.
Good to hear that 11.1 fixed somebody’s problem. Nothing changed for me and I finally had to disable auto updates of apps.
Same here and I agree with you. There is something in it which is not yet revealed. Mine got replaced the brand new device - once done I have no more freeze issues. I wonder...

That’s what Apple support recommend. I set up as new phone and it was fine for a day then did it again today. I went to make a call and opened the folder with my phone app in. I pressed the phone app and nothing happened, the phone froze again and would not respond. Force restart worked. I guess there’s just a bug in the iOS or one of the apps
Running ios 11.01 on a 7+ 128 gb, froze up this morning, looks like the phone icon is in use, tried calling my phone from a land line and it rings but does not ring on the iphone, eventually goes to voicemail.
I Phone 7Plus here. Phone freezes randomly with various different apps. Today it was voice mail and access to calling. Had to go through contacts to make the call. Forced restart has worked thus far.
Please get the bug fixed Apple!
Not entirely true Lawrence. There have been instances over the years where Apple have issued software updates to fix various issues such as battery drain etc. I haven't been affected by these issues when lots of others have which would suggest that not every phone gets affected by software bugs.
It is also a huge waste of my time having to reset my phone and lose lots of data at the same time. I pay premium money for my apple products so I don't have to do these sorts of things.
I have had this exact problem right here. It happens when my iphone 6s auto locks or manually locked for a few minutes.
I'd press the power button to wake it and I'd get the black screen, the spin wheel comes up and takes a moment to wake.
I've tried restarts and resets but still have that problem.
MY iPhone 6 was working fine before installing the new update iOS 11 now it freezes when opening an app or while using it I just updated it a few days ago I’m very upset I don’t know what to do because my phone for work as a driver and it freezes when using the gps or using the app for work or even when going an any app, I feel like apple is doing this in purpose to force us to buy the newer models but that’s wrong because I can’t afford a new phone :/ I am
Very angry and I think I’m gonna have to switch to Samsung after being an iPhone user since the original one came out ! Apple needs to do something now ! :/
