Updated to iOS 11. Now my iPhone won’t play on my Audi (2015 A6) MMI system. Audi or Apple’s issue?

Had the same issue.
Found that by removing the Bluetooth connection (deleting it) and then connecting via the MMI cable (no Blurtooth) it then worked as expected, (views of Albums,Songs, Artisits etc).
Once connected via the MMI then reconnected Bluetooth & phone and all is now working.
This is not resolved. iPhone 7 running 11.0.2 with an 2013 Audi Q7. Continues to disconnect and reconnect, while showing “connected” the entire time under Bluetooth devices.
Latest 11.1.2 still has not fixed this issue...

This is soooo annoying!!! I updated to 11.2.1 2 days ago, music played fine through the car, then today it won’t play! So frustrated!!
How do you reboot MMI?

What is this Audi Cable you keep mentioning and where does it plug in?
The cable I was referring to is in th glove box.
No this is not the fix. I have tried everything. It’s the iOS. There has to be a way to get the iOS 10 if you are having these issues. This is rediculous.
I got my old Samsung galaxy out and it connects to that and my tablet. I’m ready to throw this Apple out the window.
Having a cable in the glove box is an option. It’s not in every car. If you have a newer Audi you may not need a cable to connect phones to Bluetooth for mmi and hands free phone.

Apple will work with any manufacturer that comes to them so their claim that Apple didn’t release the software to them is bogus. It’s just their excuse to pawn it off.
Read through Android forums and they have the exact same complaints. This is not a problem exclusive to the iPhone.
