Can people confirm if they use a USB hub to connect their iPhone to the computer?
Hello,
We here at Agent Mobile just discovered something relating to this as we had a number of iPhone 6's in for repairs and deal a lot with these advanced issues. After replacing the battery we were stuck with this same problem (Battery replaced was OEM certified). We feel this is related to an OEM apple battery having the correct voltage and amps to continue the update. After temporarily putting the original depleted batter back in iPhone, the restore process went smoothly. So if anyone is having issues and you still have your OEM battery that is a place to start. If you have never done repairs to your iPhone there may be a deeper issue. Seeing this issue still discussed in 2018 we felt is was needed to mention our resolve solution.
Thanks,
Josh

Two weeks ago I made the same operation and everything work fine... Somebody tried to install beta version of iOS - I thing about 11.4 ? Probably it resolved a problem ?
apple is scamming us
so we can buy their new model iPhones
what do you mean by ‘flexed upwards’?
Yes. They are at the bottom. While I am very happy with my Assembled in India iPhone SE, let me give it a try.
I have done all of this and in the end have been asked $400 for new iPhone 6s Plus.
Or... that ios 11 rendered many devices unusable and Apple wont take responsibility.
I also encountered with this problem on iPad Air.
Apple boot loop occurs when i try to restore on DFU or Recovery mode, it stucks at verifying iPad update.
anyone had a solution?
did anyone try with iOS 12?
Hi
Turn iPhone off Make sure your pc is running the latest iTunes 12.7.2
Connect lead to USB on your pc Press just the power button down on iPhone don't let go Connect lead to iPhone keep power button pressed down until pc sees iPhone Then wait for restore you may need to do this more than once Before it works.
If you still have a problem make an appointment at Apple store.
Or contact Support.apple.com.

I took the phone in to apple and they verified that is a logic board failure , it is unfixable it can only be replaced they also told me this problem is not common at all so it is not recognized as an issue I strongly advise everyone to let your local Genius Bar know about this problem! If your phone is under warranty still with no physical damage they will replace for free ! If there is any physical damage to the screen a charge of $149-169 will be charged. Hope this helps
