Clock missing from lock screen after iOS 11 update

After updating to iOS 11, I can no longer see my clock on the lock screen. I have to unlock the phone to see what time it is. Super annoying. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a quick and easy fix?

That worked for me too....not sure if anyone else noticed this or not but this bug also effects your use of the control center function when your screen is locked. I sometimes swipe up to use my camera quickly when the screen was locked and that function didn't work either. Changing it to zoomed has worked. I haven't change it back to standard yet to just test out how long it lasts before moving back to standard view.

I am experiencing a very similar issue. I am currently using an iPhone 8 Plus with iOS 11.0.2.

My clock from lock screen gets covered by iMessage or email chats that do not go away. This happens when I quick reply (hard press) from lock screen and every time I do that the phone does not bring the chat/email message up, instead it brings up a white box then it freezes. Now when I try to access my lock screen it covers my clock and the only way this problem seems to go away is when I restart. There is no way restarting my phone every time is practical and it is super annoying.

Any one else have this issue?

Has Apple acknowledged the lock screen issue?

I am having similar issues with my iPhone 7Plus, It is so frustrating. This is Iphone (APPLE 2016 flagship) and I have paid 850 bucks for this crap.

There is no solution to this problem so far. I had 7 trips to a Apple store and they have done everything from resetting my iPhone to swapping it out with a new device. Per them it’s an issue with iOS 11 but I have seen this with iOS 10 as well. Apple has lost it, time to switch over to better phones.

Everything was stable for a few days after the update but as others have discovered as well, the problem persists in 11.0.3. I noticed that after plugging my phone into my charger that the problem reappeared. Have also noticed that I get the tone associated with notifications but cannot see any of text on the screen in addition to a blank lock screen.

It isn't just the clock that breaks in 11.0.3 but everything in Notifications, whether phone is locked or unlocked. With support I did a whole new install of 11.0.3 and data restore and the problem still happens. Basically I have a broken iPhone. This impacts me every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I use my phone for 2FA/MFA and those notifications don't work either. This is hugely impactful and unresolved.

It certainly is a wide spread problem indeed. I have same issues on all my iPhones, 7 in total to be specific. It started with iOS 11 beta, my friend sent a review after beta test experience, but never got response..

Lately feedback has been falling onto deaf ears.. I certainly do not want to switch back to Android after being with Apple for almost 8 years now..

I agree. This is a huge inconvenience. Thank goodness I have an Apple Watch, otherwise I wouldn't see text message notifications or the clock about 50% of the time. I also have to keep toggling back and forth between zoom/standard view to temporarily override the problem. That's a silly fix. Add this to all of the features that were advertised for iOS 11, yet are still not available (or came late), and I am disappointed. I expect more from Apple.

I deleted the discover widget as well, but only 4 days ago. While I’m not holding my breath, I’m encouraged by your 3 weeks. The longest I’ve gone was 8 days (with the discover widget enabled). I wonder if anyone has left feedback on the discover app? I also wonder if everyone who is experiencing this is using this particular widget or are other banking apps culprits as well.
