The 11.0.3 update fixed this both on my iPhone and iPad Pro as well.

I have found that unlocking the phone then swiping down from the top to show your list of notifications fixes the issue of the disappearing clock. It is unnecessary to restart your phone. I have an iPhone SE with iOS 11. Hope this helps.
No, I do need to either restart or change zoomed/standard view. Swiping down does not solve the issue.
I’ve been having the same issue since downloading IOS 11. I really hope to god Apple does something about this or I might have to switch to another company.
Like I’ve erased my phone twice now nothing has changed. My lock screen Is still messed up!
Seems to work. I’ll bet that all whose didn’t work and switched to standard as I had. Thanks.
I’ve called Apple and they keep having me erase my iphone twice now please Apple if your reading this fix the issue .
I have updated to 11.0.3. The problem still persists.
Same issue here. I tried restarting and that does fix for long. I even delete notifications thinking that would help but nah! Let us know what works for you!
I run my 6s in zoom mode all the time. Just setting it to standard mode cleared the problem for me. Then immediately switched back to zoom mode and 63 hours later all is still as it should be.
This is exactly what I'm facing too. Very disappointed, indeed.
I removed all widgets from the lockscreen and the problem hasn’t occured since.
Yeah,... going this way why don't we remove the iphone at all and wait for better days?! 😉
I changed my background on both the home screen and lock screen individually then deleted some widgets and finally I did a restart and problem has not reoccurred.
Guys, I think I found the solution. I deleted the Whatsapp widget and now everything works fine. The clock is back and I see the preview Whatsapp messages on the home screen.
Me too. then problem returned. Seems that using an Apple loaded image for background makes the problem less frequent, but still nagging.
